I had my first round o' vaccines today and survived (granted, my left arm feels dead but I'm OK with that) I am now protected against Tetanus and partially protected against Hep A/B (need 2 more!) and armed with a Rx for the Typhoid vaccine :)
We plan on hitting the travel clinic in July to get the Yellowfever, Malaria and whatever else we need.
Very exciting, I know.

The worst part is over! Tetanus was by far the most painful of all the shots. The rest are a breeze—except for the feeling of having an infectious-disease cocktail coursing through your veins! The things we do for love . . .
I know, that tetanus shot stinks! 8 hours later & my arm hurts even more! ACK!
