Family came from California, North Carolina & Wisconsin!
The food was fantastic and my cousin (the fabulous, should-be-famous-baker) made a 16 pound, 6 layer coconut cake AND a flourless chocolate cake covered in ganache. I woke up this morning really craving some cake!
2 of Nora's 4 Grandpa's were there-one even came from Los Angeles to meet her for the 1st time!
It was a great day!

Given those cakes, it is a good thing I didn't make it. I would have made a terrible first impression, cake on my face and all :)
Did the cake weigh more than Nora?
What a blessing to have family love on your new girl!
As of Nora's last weigh-in. the cake was 1 pound heavier than she is!!
It really meant alot to us that so many in our family came out yesterday to shower our little girl with so much love-we are truly lucky to have so much support in our lives.
