- We married in January 2003 and in late April 2006 we made the decision to adopt from Ethiopia. We currently live in the 'burbs with our daughter & 3 dogs. We received our referral on June 13, 2007, traveled August 17th and arrived home with our baby girl on August 25th, 2007
